Scammers pretending they are the Aust Tax Office and about to launch legal action against you

Recorded message saying they were from ATO and just received a court order in my name - I hung up

fake telemarketer issuing ATO threats. Hang up or return the call and give them some back.

My mother had the same message yesterday supposedly from the ATO threatening her with a warrant for her arrest. She is 86 years old!!!

Just answered this call. American accent said he was from Australian tax office. I hung up.

A client of mine received a call from this number last night claiming they were from the ATO. They warned a warrant for her arrest was pending if she didn't call them back.

As above, ATO scam, ring them back and have fun!!!
