ATO tax scam recorded message from a foreigner. Reported to ATO and Scam watch immediately. They also use a mobile number as well.

Received a message on answering machine with some foreign sounding twat calling about the ATO. Then I looked up the number and found you guys with the same issue.

He left a message on my phone saying that he was from "The Tax Office" and I have some tax trouble and etc. He did not know my name, and he did not state who he was. This guy knows very little about how the real ATO works.

YEP! These bastards rang both my landline and my mobile. A pox on them all!

Had 2 messages today threatening arrest warrants, one from this number and another from (02) 8880 0193 and these aren't the first I've received. They're nothing but scammers!

Sames as other comments, reported to ATO and played them a copy of the message
