While at some stage (a long time ago) I did follow a link online about trading, I realise now it was a scam and am thankful I only gave first name and phone number.

I got several calls from several companies in months after this and most were satisfied with a polite thanks but no thanks.

Since then I've been diagnosed with a rare cancer, and testing and treatment costs have been astronomical, so I have zero money left even if I was interested, not to mention the lack of mental or physical bandwidth to deal with anything beyond just existing.

It's been at least 9 months since the last call, but calls have started up again, with two in the past two days. One yesterday came from a number in the UK – politely said I was no longer interested, he didn't initially want to take no for answer, but when he asked why and I explained my circumstances he was understanding and wished me well.

This one today, from the number listed here. Unbelievable! She was so over the top pushy trying to convince me that their 'scheme' (my words not hers) was designed especially for people in my kind of situation. After trying to be polite for six minutes (because I hate to be rude and that's clearly what they prey on) and continually being talked over as I tried to politely reiterate my position, I told her once again I was not interested and would be hanging up and hung up on her.

Totally insensitive and preying on the weak. Reeks of a scam.

Blocked number immediately. Would definitely not recommend answering calls from this number.
