Hollard Insurance re a claim. This is NOT SPAM.Too many peple jump to conclusions without the FACTS. Yes there are a lot of tele-sales "snowflaking" our telephone lines and yes we need to be wary - BUT - please apply due diligence and use internet to check their provenance.

I received a call from them today. Picked up and they hung up on me. All class.

There seems to be so much wrong interpretation such as the peculiar rubbish under the stated name of "Clinical Director - Paramedical Services" on 5 June 2019 that I thought I should give some reassurance to sensible enquirers that this number (02) 8867 6861 GENUINELY is Woolworths Insurance/Hollard Insurance. You may not recognize it because the number publicised is a "national" number 1300 10 1234. But if you lodge a claim they may contact you on this number to progress it.
(I add that I have just lodged a claim and have been most impressed by the speedy and helpful response both by email and from (02) 8867 6861.)

Caller: Some ‘analysis’ company

Have called me multiple times from this and other numbers. They claim the call is about online trading and then get argumentative when you express disinterest. “How can you not be interested if you don’t know what I’m going to say yet”.

Its actually a legit number for Woolworths insurance lol. Tinfoil hat much?

I don't work for an insurance company, but I do hold insurance through the company 'Hollard Insurance' who have contacted me via this telephone number, to follow up and confirm my online request was legitimate.

I’m quite certain this number is some sort of spam or fraudulent activity. I’ve been called multiple times by them claiming to be Woolworths insurance, indicating that I may be paying for two insurance policies. They then asked for personal information before being able to speak further. In indicated that i would not be providing any personal information to an unsolicited caller with a strange story and that if they are Woolworths they are welcome to send me an email or a letter outlining the nature of the problem. I will contact Woolworths home insurance to confirm this number is dodgy.

2 calls in 2 days stating my insurance is being paid twice (it's not) then won't discuss further until I give usual personal identifying info.
