Caller: Datacom This is a legitimate number. I work in a Federal Government department with some IT services outsourced to Datacom. I received a call from a contact in Datacom on this number.

Caller: not sure Datacom's telephone number is 8875 3500 nothing near the number above of 8864 9500 - they just tried to call me and I had my phone on silent so it rang out and they have left a voice mail message. So is it a genuine call or a spam call

Rang three times.Did not answer.Similar to other calls I have received. Contacted Telstra 1800 805 996. They say these calls are scammers from overseas disguising their real phone number. Do not call back. I rang Telstra yesterday and they were going to block any international calls. Alas I am still receiving them. I just got another different number ring me while I was writing this.!!! Not much you can do.

I just got a missed call from (02) 8864 9500 and when I tried to call it back my provider automated message says the number is incorrect and to check the number and try again. No messages left.
Anyone know who/what this number is?

Same thing here and they left a message saying nothing except possibly breathing on (02) 8245 1850. That number did not respond either - no dial tone, nothing.
