no messages left. I ring back on a different number and female voice recording please hold transferring you to an agent. suspicious as I've had a few calls from different numbers starting off with (02) 8859 31--

I had a call yesterday from this number (02) 8859 3108 and the caller id said parramatta I answered it and nothing was said so I hanged up immediately and block the number it’s scammers spoofing local Australian numbers the telcos should do something about it it’s harassment.

Call centre obvious scam.

I answered this unknown number today, said nothing just listened. After 3 seconds they hung up but I'm sure someone was listening. I'm convinced they were up to no good. I've blocked this number.

Received a call announcing my name as I normally do, to be immediately told please hold the line someone will be with you shortly. Clever scam, then they pass over to someone else who then knows your name. Just ignore it, block the number, scamming pain the back sides!
