Call too often. I give to Red Cross 2 or 3 times a year but they keep ringing few times every month. I hate this style of fund raising and prefer to give donations to charities where every dollar donated goes to the project or disaster.

Very unhappy at Red Cross calling our 'Private Silent Number' with the excuse they were randomly calling people via 'computer generated number system' looking for donations. Needless to say we politely said they shouldn't be calling us & hung up.

A for-profit company collecting for not-for-profit charities. These types of companies take a sizable chunk of donations, so be very wary. If you're inclined to donate to these charities, think about giving to them directly, not through these guys.
The operator was polite in my case, which makes for a nice change.

They have rung me 4 times today.
One was to sell me raffle tickets and well politely declining... My phone has since rung three times and when i have answered, they hang up. I hope they ring again. i am so over it!

I gotta call and a lady spoke of Red Cross Charity. She took my postal address and told me that she would send a post card with a barcode on it which can be used to Donate through Australia Post.

It is a commercial call centre working for various charities. I made a donation to one charity and have since been called by same call centre for different charities. So I believe they use data from one charity for the others - a neat workaround the "Do Not Call" issue/

They (he/she) called me, and when I answered, after a short silence, they hung up. Not good PR!

Answered call and they/it hangs up. Called the number and it's disconnected. I suspect it's a spammer that is now added to my phone's blacklist and also to this site. If they call again my smart phone will still answer it and hang up so they are charged for the call. Have a nice day spammer! LOL!

This number rings frequently. If answered, hangs up. Sick of it
