When I call the number back for verification, the recorded message only states that it is a well known charity. A real charity organisation would have used a private number or left a message with its business name.

I get calls from this number all the time. I'm on the do-not-call register so can only presume its a charity. I never answer but this number can sometimes call up to 4 times a day. Very annoying.
