I have an ex directory phone at home , so how come I keep getting scammers calls ? Does BT sell off these numbers to scammers and make more profit like that 123 call for one second costing 50 p. I never make phone calls from land lines it’s always mobiles that I use . The line is just for internet .

Caller: Alex from Telstra Got to be a scammer! I asked for his number and he gave me this one. I didn't ring it back. He Tried telling me he was from Telstra and our internet line was being hacked and he was here to help and if I could turn on my computer. Wish these pests would piss off.
