Operator was trying to sell me raffle tickets for Kids with cancer charity. Unable to confirm caller was genuine and exactly how much sales commission is made by the operator on the transaction. Avoid donating over thd phone to complete strangers.

I called back the number (02) 8801 8103 and reached vm that did not mention the company name

I have had calls from this number on numerous occasions (I don't answer). Calls can be on weekends, evening, morning, anytime, and never leave a message.

Sat afternoon? only mates call to go to pub. Not my mate.

I answered and they hung up after a few seconds of silence, when I called the number back there was a "kids with cancer foundation australia" charity fundraising voicemail. Sounds like a dodgy opportunistic scam!

Call came from Blacktown at 9:30am this morning. Called back number only to hear recorded message from Kids with Cancer selling raffle tickets.

Called me at 9:30am on a Saturday, no voicemail.
