allegedly Telstra regarding my internet service. Lots of problems and needed to verify my details, etc. I'm not with Telstra and when I mentioned that, they hung up.

Caller said he was from Telstra. Wanted to help me switch my internet back to a private network as he was getting reports it was working on an open public network. Scam call.

Caller said hello to me (sounded like it was a call centre in the background) and then he immediately hung up, shy scammer I guess

Caller: Scammer Caller ID came up as Liverpool Sydney so I answered, but the person was already speaking to someone else, in another language that sounded like vietnamese or chinese? There was a lot of noise, like a call centre. Then they hung up on me. Like it was a verification call to see if I'd answer. Blocking!

Claimed to be from Telstra, my internet was switched from public to private. Sounded dodgy. Gave 133220 as the number to call back, has been flagged as compromised by other commenters

Caller: Indian guy pretending to be from Telstra Pretends that you have an internet problem. I told him firstly that I am not with Telstra and asked him what is the supposed problem with my internet. He told me my "settings" were changed to public which was very dangerous because everyone can see them and he needs to help me change it back again. I told him he was a scammer and he hung up.

I did not answer the call. The call went to voicemail. I checked the voicemail and a man said hello but did not say anything more. I could hear lots of noise in the background. Likely to be a call centre scammer.

Caller: (02) 8776 7025 This is number is a slight variation of another call from earlier in the day. I have kept missing it by chance. Kind of want to answer it and hear the spiel. Definitely a scammer.
