Despite being listed on the 'Do Not Call' register these people have rung 5 or 7 times trying to sell solar. Do not want to be bothered by these people who persist on ringing even after they are told I have 20 solar panels.

I got a call at 3.38pm today. It was a female Indian-sounding person who asked for me by my name and then asked whether I was interested in solar panels, I told her I was not. She then changed tack and wanted to find out whether we were eligible for a rebate. I asked her politely to remove our number from their database and hung up while she was still talking. We are also on the Do Not Call list. Incidentally, my husband had a call (no number on the caller ID) this morning from the same people. He too asked that they remove our number from their call list. I might not be so polite next time!

I just answered this number. Kept saying hello. There was a sound like they were about to talk and then they hung up (about 15 seconds later)

I was under the impression that if your phone number was on the Australian Do Not Call Register you wouldn't be receiving calls from telemarketers only registered charities. If this continues I'll have to phone the Do Not Call Register again.

I had a call from this number this afternoon asking me if I was Mrs ...... even though my number is on the Australian Do Not Call Register. I knew who the caller was as I've had calls from these people before. I told them that Mrs ...... was away overseas for an extended period of time. I've told them time and again that we do not need solar panels as we already have 16, we've had them since June 2012.

This caller rings our number each afternoon regardless of the fact that we are on the "Do not call Register" and have a silent number. Each time they enquire if we have solar power at which point I hang up. I have tried to call them and as others have stated the number is "always" engaged. - Its about time Telstra "pulled he plug" on them.

Indian call center trying to flog solar. The number appears to be an Australian VOIP number. Not surprisingly, it disconnects when you try to ring it.
I lodged a complaint with ACMA but don't expect it to amount to much. These type of companies usually just register a new number and start spamming again.
My number is on the Do Not Call Register. They really must be dumb if they expect someone on the register to buy something from them following a spam call.

This person claimed to be offering free assessment of whether or not we could get solar panel rebate. They didn't say where they were from until I asked. They sounded generally dodgy. When I told them I didn't want a visit from one of their assessors because I already had solar panels, they just hung up. Beware.
