This number is a trojan, if you answer the phone.. you get infected with a trojan.. this trojan will go through your phone line and get into your body.

They said it was Commonwealth bank for a 'service call' that would take 5 minutes. I said I was busy.

This number keeps on calling. Never answer this number unless you want to waste 10 mins of you lifetime then go ahead, im pretty f*cking 100% sure you will not get that 10mins back.

The phone number is a direct outbound line for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Completely legit. They never ask for any financial information, just name, DOB and address to confirm identity. You can always call 132221 (general enquiries) to check if a CBA call is legit.

Second time had these buggars call and fortunately I missed their call. Same as other comments, tried calling back to find "Busy" all the time.

This number is a Scam, be careful. Banks will never call and ask for your private information.

Call was from the Commonwealth Bank, essentially a marketing call (asking if I wanted a credit card). They asked for private data but also confirmed legitimate by confirming private data that I had not given them (bank account balance). In the end they were useful since they put me on a new account that saved me money.

strange call from (02) 8746 1500 , saying that they from common wealth bank ...asked my identities,....usually bank wont call to customer .....guys dont give any private data for such kind of calls

Call was from commonwealth bank. following up on an application id started through netbank online. had to confirm full name, DOB, street address to speak re that application. Once past that fella spoke poliety & clearly(Aussie) and elaborated on the application i had been applying for.
