i also joined this plan through strathfield, so im thinking its definately them and my plan in about to run out... how ever is it necessary to call several times every single working day!

this number (02) 8741 3744 is strathfield group if they keep calling you call (02) 9598 8666 and ask for the manager in charge this number is there head office if not consumer affairs can stop them. f*cken s**t idiots

I am getting phone calls from this number, I am also with Optus but I got my phone through ALL PHONES.

yeah i get calls every now and then from this number too. I am with optus, but I didnt buy my phone through strathfield. if they are hassling you a lot you may be able to stop them by logging your number to the 'do not call register"

this is a government initiative to prevent telemarketing companies, etc from using your number...so i dont know if it will work for these guys esp if when we all join optus it is a clause in the fine print.

Yeh it is definately strathfield car radio and they suck big time... i answered the call and resigned up with them for another contract with a phone. they have since been charging me for the new contract but I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY NEW PHONE YET !!! I called them to chase it up and the way they have spoken to me is absolutely totally unprofessional... NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS AND WHEN THIS NUMBER CALLS YOU DO NOT ANSWER IT your better of saving yourself the hassle that im going through with them... A**HOLES THEY ARE!!!

PS. just in case you get the same person calling you, you can tell her to eff off... her name is Sonia from Strathfield Car Radio.... when I asked why my phone hasn't been delivered yet, and I quote her saying "You don't have to get hot and bothered about it, I can't make miracles, you'll get your phone when we receive it"... and when i asked to just cancel the whole thing she said that she cannot cancel the contract now that I have to go through optus to cancel it. So, I called optus and they said that i have to go through strathfield car radio to get the phone or to cancel the contract as they're the ones who signed me up. So I called back strathfield car radio and they then admitted that they are the ones that have to deal with it and then they tell me that i have to pay a fee to cancel the contract when i havent even gotten my effing phone yet...I'm going to stratfield car radio tomorrow to give a piece of my mind and to tell em they can shove their stupid contact where it belongs.
