Calls everyday and hangs up after a couple of rings...

Same thing happens to me constantly

I got a call from these guys, telling me they would be "in your area" this week. I said "Oh, what area is that?" and they said "your area".
"What's my area?"
"They are Australia-wide"
"So how do you know they will be in MY area?"
"Because if you make an appointment they will come and see you"
"So they aren't just "in the area"".
"No"
"What do you want?"
"If they make an appointment you can get $450 worth of lifestyle vouchers for free. But you must own your own home or be paying it off. Do you own your own home or paying it off?"
"That's nobody's business who just calls me randomly"
*beep beep beep*

Very much the same. Lifestyle group, $20 vouchers, in area next week.
Told them they'd be wasting their time.
Blocked number now on my mobile.

They called me and knew my address. How would they know that and what do they want? They made an appointment to come and see me at my house. What should I do?

Getting this number calling all day and all night. My phone says it's "Australia Post" but why would they ring on a Saturday @ 7:54pm at night?

I did ring Aust. Post once on this number (which I got out of the phone book, not online) but I rang them - not the other way round.

Starting to wonder if this isn't Aust. Post's Fax Machine that's on the fritz.

(02) 8705 3273 called 30/9, 1/10,6/10,7/10,8/10,9/10.. never leaves message, hangs up once you say hello. Prior to this a similar number (02) 8705 3413 called 16/9,14/9,2/9?? Who is this ?why?

Calls and with 4 rings hangs up, highly annoying. Especially when your phone number is private, and belongs to a child under 16.

4 calls within 2 minutes & when i called them they told me i was "selected" for a givaway, told them to stop calling, then i called again on a blocked number & told them to piss off.

same as the other comment rings for about 3 seconds and stops kinda like they want u to call them back or something

Yep, I've had this one, plus (02) 8705 3413, (02) 8004 9903, (02) 9112 9666, (02) 8069 5104.... I just don't answer... bloody boring

Called twice then hang up. Will block the number

These people call my number , dont leave message, hang up when I answer.
Very annoying, I am 79 yrs old with health condition, this added stress does me no good.
Besides my phone is an emergency phone, not a marketing outlet for these low lives.

I returned the call. No answer ....... just option to leave a message, yet when attempting to leave a message, simply gives a recorded message informing that their message box is full.

Calls my mobile, never leaves message. Happens at least twice a day. After reading comments will block number
