Caller: Robocall Scammer

This is a Robo-Dialler, the sole reason it calls is to see if there is an answer, and whether there is a human at the other end of the phone. If a human voice answers, your phone number is added to a list to be called by scammers. The number is 'NOT CONNECTED' because it has been faked by overseas callers to appear legitimate. Sometimes registered Australian companies are a party to this criminal fraud as they sell legitimate-looking numbers to overseas criminals.

Daily phone calls from this number. Up to 6 a day sometimes. I have it blocked in my phone, tho it still registers as a call, there is no option for them to leave a message even if they wanted to....not that that will happen as when I called it back "surprise, surprise"...the number is not connected.

Now when my landline rings, I don't say anything due to these sorts of calls.

Got one from it today - I said nothing and after about 8 seconds, it hung up.

The hang when I answer , they have called at least once a day for the last week. Very annoying .

As per other comments, keep getting phone calls from this number but no response when saying hello. Obviosly a scam

I keep getting calls from this number, & when I answer, the caller hangs up. Advice at the top of this page suggests it is not connected! So why am I getting calls from them? I suspect it is some sort of call centre.
