I got a call 5 mins ago and didn't answer it. No voicemail was left. Virgin did have a promotion going that if you register and recharge during December you get an extra 10% credit..maybe it's to do with that?Shouldn't have to give them any details though

Received 2 missed calls today from 86666650. Auto message left says "Your a good customer etc...and please call 1300 365 960 for free credit". Googled this 1300 number witl no result. Rang up Virgin's proper phone number and asked about it's legitamacy and they investigated it and said it was OK. I was then transferred to Complaints section and they credited me $35 goodwill gesture. I feel bad now so I won't ring for the free credit they wanted to give me in the first place! I told them about the comments on this website about it being a scam and they apologised. So, it's legit.

I managed to say i forgot my pin and change it again but yeah don't give your details these guys are so dodgyIf your credit card details are on the site you can get majorly screwed..

It's really is Virgin calling to give you credit, I phoned the Virgin customer service afterwards and they confirmed it as one of their promotions.

Glad I googled this. I have had multiple calls from this number around the same time of the day as someone else reported. It has been this month only, July. I am at work during the annual call time and so I have missed it everytime. I call back and it says that the number is disconnected. From what I read on this site, it does sound like a scam or hoax...nothing good... Thanks for the comments guys.
