When they eventually get through to you they ask if you are happy with your current, about to expire phone plan. Tell the caller you want to be placed on the do not call list & they will do this for you.

I've just started getting them as well. I'm with Optus so what I do is keep a log of them and when it calls me three times I report the calls as unwanted and your carrier is to file a report with the police who contact the owner of the number to tell them to stop. I have had this twice before with different numbers and once I report it to my phone company the calls do stop.

For 3 weeks now. 4 -5 times a day these "XXXXXXXXXXX"keep ringing. If I get hold of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Only seems to be mon to fri. between 9am -6pm est. I have never answered the call!

I am in Perth. Just received this nonsense call. It hung up before I picked it up.

I got a call this morning and thankfully my husband suggested to google it! I'm with Optus via Allphones. Thanks for the info

Got a call from it today, picke up and heard a machine message for 2 seconds before it cut off
