The number was invalid when I tried to call back (the first time)
The second time he called, he identified himself as Edward from "US engagement group", and trading under www.comparewithus.com.au/
he did not sound like an Edward, and it was difficult to understand the thick accent

Register your number on https://www.donotcall.gov.au/ and if they continue to call after you have registered file an official complaint with donotcall which is an Australian Government initiative.

Won't do any good. Australian VoIP provider, Symbio Networks, allows overseas "companies" to give the impression that they're in Australia. They are not.

Calls but never talks. As soon as I pick, it hangs up. When I called back it never rings.

they continually call weekends weekdays I have blocked them but they still continue calling it just gets silenced.
I have unblocked them today to speak with them and ask them to stop calling they are seriously a nuisance

Some foreign sounding bloke yappin' bout a government rebate for solar panels. Told him I didn't have a roof and he hung up quick smart he did.

Started to receive calls from this number (didn't pick up, they don't leave a message) after my phone has logged 10s of calls from (03) 8751 8078, which I blocked. This has happened before - block one number and after multiple tries, a new number starts calling multiple times with no message.

I called back the number (02) 8608 2033 and reached vm that did not mention the company name

Got a misterious call from (02) 2819 8300
Called back it says to be disconnected. How come, if they just called from this number?

Said something lead generation? As soon as they asked for confirmation of name, I said no, this is *** - they immediately hung up without saying bye or wrong number etc

Electricity switch call. Not interested. Tell them that. Recently getting at least 3 a day from them. Interestingly they call for the 20 seconds it takes before my phone picks up and goes to voice mail. Costs them a connect charge every time.
