Received recoreded message phone call from "Centrelink" stating we hadn't replied to their letters. As we received everything via the webb site and all centrelink numbers start 13 or 1800 I presume this is a hoax. Suggest avoiding.

Same circumstances as the rest - worried me as it was Friday night and I wanted to sort out the confusion with Centrelink before the weekend. When I rang the above number it was answered with as if it were Centrelink. Spooky. I was lucky they said call back on Monday so I had time to investigate. Last straw, I am getting rid of my landline, it's just used for scammers and people selling thinks. Mobile only from now on.

This number was also given to a friend by the scammers saying it was centre-link . Same format as previous saying they had to buy an ITunes card . Not sure what the SCAM is but if you see this number dont be polite!.

centerlink it definatly is a scam because you have mygov and if centrerlink need to contact you they will do so via mygov. do not call them back you may receive a large phone bill.

This number called me 5 times in about 20 minutes. I had no voice on the other end except just once: a female voice, quite soft, saying "hello". Now I know it's a scammer if they call again I'll know what to say and it won't be polite!!!

Caller claimed they were from Centerlink & I was due for a back payment. Then they wanted to send someone to my house for an appointment & I was to give then a Apple ITunes card to cover a registration fee. Then when I said I would to to a Centerlink office instead, they hung up on me.............obviously a scam !!!!!!!

coming up as centerlink and know that you call them not them call you for no reason out of the blue this so calked person should be ashamed of themselves trying to scam innocent people.

They are not pretending to be Centrelink anymore, they are doing online marketing and website design

Keep on calling.. Unsolicited calls will be reported as harassment.

Don't answer. So many bogus money hungry clowns and this is one of them. Stay away. I blocked them with about 30 other numbers.

This number continually keeps calling me (02) 8607 8601 and you cannot call back - says your call cannot be connected! How do you stop them from continually calling you. I have blocked their number on my mobile!!!!!!!

Centrelink Scam. Block them.

Just got a call on my mobile. I don't answer calls from interstate - if the call is genuine they'd leave a voice mail or a text. Will block this one as it seems it is scammers.

They call me non stop and when I finally answered they were trying to sell me SEO packages to boost my website on Google, although they aren't from google - just block the number they are a nuisance to deal with

There now doing on-line marketing calling various times of same number, but diff people.
