Caller: Shunts Robocall sprinkled with text-to-speech information purportedly describing a lost pet (couldn't hear all of it as Lenny took the call). Contrary to Australian call because (1) it's an unattended robocall and (2) it was made to a number on the Do-Not-Call register.
The scum ultimately responsible for this - according to the domain registration details for lostpetfinders.com.au - is Tony Ryder, tony @ lostpetfinders.co.nz

Caller: Lost Pet Finders Pity it comes as such a robotic voice. How do they link phone number and area? The recorded message had already started so no idea of suburb or even city. Hope the tortoise shell cat was found but as I also have one the robotic message came on like a potential threat. What is the status of LPF to over rule don't call list?

Oh! I do like this site! As per usual, did not answer unknown call but they did have the decency to leave a message. Intrigued I checked out the number and found it to be legit. I will not block these calls. Hop0e the owners find their pet.

received a robo call from that number this morning, it always rings twice. I try not to answer any call when I do not know the number or it is in my list of scam numbers...this is one of them...it might be good cause, but keep your cat inside!

It’s a Pet alert number. It goes through a central number. Do your homework and stop the scammers - not the genuine sites.

This is most definitely a legitimate site. Just like many other sites they have a central call site number. Look them up Lost Pet Finders Victoria but they operate all over the country and have great success.

Caller: Lost Pet Finders This service is invaluable and certainly NOT a scam. They have assisted us to notify neighbouring properties when our dog has gone missing. The call provides details particular to each case. It sounds automated, but is individualised per case.

(02) 8607 8200 is a number that belongs to Pet Alert. They reunite hundreds of pets with their owners. Their automated call out in the areas the animals are found help immensely when people dont microchip their pets, or have a collar or tags on them. It may SEEM like a nuisance call, but I assure you it is a community service, and not a scam by any stretch of the imagination. Please do not report or call them scammers. One day you may be thankful for their service.
