Foreign accent man telling me he was from Tax office and that there is a warrant out for my arrest and our property is under surveillance.
I told him he can't scam me and to stop telling lies!

Answering machine message 15/09/2016:Tax fraud scaremongering scam Badge ID# 594982 must call back (02) 8607 8184 or face serious legal consequences with parting comment "Have a nice day".

Have had four calls from this number - three on answering machine, and one in person within the last 10 days.
Heavily accented (Philippino?) male told to bugger off.

Foreign accent on a bad line with a delay (obviously from overseas) pretending to be from the "Tax Office". I cut him off, gave him a well deserved colourful "greeting" and hung up. Being curious to know if anyone will answer this number, I called them back and sure enough another man with foreign accent responded on a bad line with "Australian Tax Office" greeting so I gave him a more colourful "greeting" of my own to vent my frustration with these frequent scam callers from overseas that take us all for idiots. The real ATO sends all legitimate communication by mail and will never call anyone to make these stupid threats and demands that are designed to scare the vulnerable into irrational submission. Don't fall for this crap!

Ran the ATO scam reporting number and they confirmed that this is a phishing scam.

Had same call, this time the heavily accented person said their name was Thomas Miller.

can they give me an address that I can attend personally (please!) so I can get others to come with me to address the issues?

Heavily accented man (slimebag) left message about "Serious Criminal Case of Tax Evasion Tax Fraud" only fraud part about this call is the caller himself. SCAM all over it.
