Caller: “Debt collectors” more like scammers I have had multiple harassing calls and emails from this place and it’s a scam they are trying to hit me with an origin bill. 1- I have NEVER been with origin
2-The address they are claiming it’s for I have never even lived at.
3- I don’t even live in the town they say the address is at.
4- I have only had 2 addresses my whole life one for 14 years and the one I’m at now.
They are scammers!! And they are threatening to escalate the issue, it’s not mine I know 100% it’s not.
Do not give them any personal information Either they keep asking for my DOB ect but they aren’t getting it.l, I’m not agreeing to something I DO NOT OWE!

Caller: Mark Rodrigues Called my Mum looking for her sister, apparently about a personal business matter. I don't have the foggiest how they got their names. I looked online and there is a website for Collexa, but I think it's there to make people think it's legit. It's obviously a scam, don't give these people any information, if they threaten you, tell them to bring it on...

Caller: Mihir Thakore Terrifyingly, Mihir got my full name right and part of my dad's name right. I checked out the "website" they have online and found this page.
I pestered him for details and he said "telecomm". I knew it was a scam, because dad doesn't have accounts with telecom. Told Mihir to leave us alone (in extremely colourful language).
This is likely in relation to the Optus hack a few years ago, in which my personal info was released.

Caller: Collexa company they are called These people are scammers they contacted me a few weeks ago looking for someone I don't know and yesterday they contacted my spare phone I allow my daughter to use when at school .. I ripped into the Indian manger I made him apologize for contacting my children's numbers and I am going to now take legal action as my privacy has been breached .. they apparently have a IT team who gets family and relatives numbers without consent which means my phone providers have given out details without my permission so they are also going to be legally responsible for a privacy breach

Are you or have you been with Optus or Medibank or private health insurers associated with Medibank? as you know, all the personal details from those companies are out on the web now after they were hacked. And that's how you start receiving all this spam and scam stuff.

Received 3 text messages over the last 2 months asking me to contact my friends husband and get them to call back the number (02) 8599 7920 and quote a reference number in the message for further information. No idea how they got my number, or my connection with my friends husband as we aren't even friends on FB/Insta anything. I only have his number in my contacts for emergencies. Definitely must be a scam
