My mobile number is listed on the do not call register, so I do not know why they insist on calling me from a different number every day .

Don't these people have anything better to do than ringing people constantly? Fill in one lousy survey and doomed for life!

I have had similar numbers calling the last 6 days. All the same - marketers claiming I have entered into a competition and now have to complete a survey...I've blocked all these numbers but everyday a new number calls...

Same here, except it was a $500 Coles voucher. We need Government action to act on these scam artists. The technology to block numbers and and have the facility to see who they are as caller/company name which is available, but not to us consumers. In other countries like USA, you can see the actual name of the caller or company and you can block it... In addition there is a facility where one can add a PIN number which will allow calls to pass through only to those who know it. These telcos need to WAKE UP and implement this service!!!!!

I did the same thing. Also, I specifically said on a survey that I did NOT want info on insurance and I did not want to support various charities. Guess where all the calls are coming from?

Keep getting these bastards calling frequently. Government needs to take affirmative action to allow us to block certain numbers AT THE EXCHANGE. Better still have a feature where one must enter a PIN number for incoming calls to pass the call through. There also needs to be a better caller ID system where it announces the owner of a phone line. USA phone exchanges have all of these features, why not Telstra??

I got a text message telling me I won a $500 Woolworths voucher. I rang Woolworths and they said it was a scam. Same deal, different number calling every day. Very annoying because I am expecting an important phone call from Sydney and I may accidentally block it now! How can we stop these people?? Anyone??

Best thing is to have two mobile numbers.
Use on for friends and relatives and have a message bank
other for everything else and then you can have that phone turned off and never answer ...haha

I get them too. I foolishly fell for a Woolworth survey and now they don't stop. I am going to threaten Woolworth if they send me any more emails regarding free vouchers I will stop shopping with them. Hope they take note
