Called back and number stated it was a message bank for the RSPCA Raffle Line

Caller: Insights fundraising org

This line belongs to Insights, a fundraising company, and they claim to be calling "on behalf of" the RSPCA to sell raffle tickets. When I asked why it wasn't the RSPCA website but their own .com.au website she confirmed the raffle is from their fundraising company and they support the RSPCA. I asked how much of the funds raised go to the RSPCA vs. to Insights. She couldn't tell me. I said I'd prefer to support the RSPCA directly than a company raising money under the guise of supporting a charity.

Thank you for posting. So sorry I will be blocking as it is a respected organization but I like to make my own choices without being targeted.

Constantly finding missed calls that turn out to be fund-raising for RSPCA. I already support them but they just won't leave me alone.

Its RSPCA Raffles again, I rang the RSPCA raffle line on 1300 306 794 and spoke to a lady who i told, please remove my details again, she asked for my mobile number and said oh you are on the do not call list, Yes that is correct, No sh*t sunshine, now remove my details again and please do not contact me. I also made a complaint to the telecommunications ombudsman as well, I mentioned this to the lady as well. Enough is enough, I will donate if i want, not when I am called about it F%#King over and over again.

This number calls me once every couple of months, which I don’t answer & they don’t leave a message.
And now I’m blocking it

Not sure why the RSPCA would be calling me as I live in state without an RSPCA organisation. Sounds like a scam to me.
