Recorded message in both American and an Asian language informing me my Telstra service will be cut off soon .. press one etc also called from 8527 1369 & 8527 1369 both 02 area code . Now blocked and deleted

I answered a call from this number and spoken to a man with a very strong accent (South Asian) who said his name was 'James Williams' - he said 'OK' a lot and then told me he has been receiving warnings from my NBN internet line that my NBN is causing issues with the internet or suchlike. This was obviously a scam but the worrying thing is I could hear operators in the background on calls, like it was a proper Call Centre - so easy to fall for these ones, block any calls from this number!

This number has called me regularly. Didn’t answer this time . Is it a scammer

Robot message said Chinese embassy message then a robot voice was speaking in Chinese.

Pre-recorded message claiming I owe $1,000 for online shopping with a VISA or MasterCard.

This number rang but did not leave a message - when that happens they are usually a scammer or charity scammer. The call is now blocked

Scam call claiming to be from Australia Post saying a parcel to be delivered to us was about to be returned.

(02) 8527 2991. That call was 1335hrs. Todays was 1337. Same bat time; same bat channel; same landline prefix (+6128527) says fair chance this call was from yesterday’s nuisance.

Call received today - recorded message stating it was from Visa/Mastercard and wanting me to press 1 to confirm a valid debit transaction or 2 to advise transaction is not valid - amount of supposed transaction stated but not the supplier or whether it was Mastercard or Visa. Reverse lookup does not provide details of whom the phone number belongs. Believed to be a scam call.
