RFS - keep calling even though I've told them its a painful struggle for my 91 year old mother to answer the phone. Told that my number is on the DNC list, they countered that I'd once bought a raffle ticket from them. The old "prior relationship" loophole! Be warned!!

Constantly have requested removal from their call list and the anglo voice says yes but ignores. They are relentless the RFS

They say they are collecting on behalf of the Rural Fire Service (RFS) but they get more than the RFS.
They've rung me up to 4 times a day but now they just ring and it disconnects in 1 or 2 seconds.
Everyone that is bothered by them should contact the Rural Fire Service and complain to them. They won't want to have a bad name because of these leeches but they're getting it and the RFS have Government contacts. If they have enough complaints they'll get it stopped.

I have had up to four calls a day from this number, I have blocked the number on my mobile, wish I'd done it sooner!!

I received one of these calls from this mob today. Answered and they hung up in my ear. My wife used to donate to the RFS Association, but I put a stop to that. When I DID manage to speak with one of the call centre people I told them to take my number off their damned books. Worked for a while obviously, but now they're at it again

Sick of this number calling my mobile and my home number! Multiple times every day. Luckily I can block the number on the mobile and it doesn't even ring through on my phone, just shows as a missed call in the phone log. Home number I can't do that and it really annoys me. This has gone on for years now - usually twice a year I have 2-3 weeks of them trying continuously. When I donate to RFS it is to our LOCAL area not to a head office that probably then spends the money in Sydney.

I rarely answer numbers I don't recognise, especially if they leave no message. Got 2 calls in 2 minutes. Have blocked them on my mobile.

We have caller ID and made a list of numbers with 'Don't answer'. Eventually, the calls will stop. Alternatively, sometimes we lift the receiver and hang up again. As long as we don't have to pay for such calls, this may be an option to make these calls stop.

they ring several times a week, the fact is now that we don`t give any to the charities any more via the phone, best thing I bought was a answering machine, private and unknown numbers go straight to the machine so they have wasted their call and I don`t really care any more, best thing I ever bought.

They called and missed me . After reading all these other comments I'm glad I didn't answer.

All the comments about the Do Not Call Register are unhelpful as charitable organisations are exempt from the provisions. Registering with them will only help you not receiving calls from commercial enterprises and only if you have had no recent prior relationship with them.

Called my business around 4PM, hung up when I answered. FFS, just say "wrong number" or something instead of being so fkng rude and wasting my time

These calls are painful, constantly ringing my home phone number now my mobile as well, many times silently then hang up or they want money which I dont have

same as others, receive frequent calls but the caller does not answer. Am on the do not call register so I have gone online to them and they have a complaints section which I have just completed. Hope they do something about these nuisance calls.
