A call from this number 3.30pm, when I answered they hung up. A nuisance.

got called today , hang up straight away - called them back , didn't connect

I get calls from similar numbers and now never answer. I wait 10 minutes to see if they leave a message - if not, block the number. They may call again with a similar number a few days later and I block that. The calls seem to be getting fewer and longer apart so maybe I've blocked most of their numbers!
The calls from RFS are actually young people who have been recruited by a guy who has a multi million dollar house on Sydney harbour. They get a small commission if you give money, 9% goes to the RFS and the rest goes to the rich guy - that's why he's rich!

It's a scam... some people are saying that they have been hacking into your PC via a call SO DON'T ANSWER!

Called selling raffle tickets for the rural fire service volunteers. Prize $25000 Visa card. Said there was 46 fire incidents happening today. Raffle tickets delivered to you then you can pay at the post office, or pay over the phone with a card to receive double the amount

I’ve just received a call from this number, and although I’ve blocked the number on my phone; they’re still able to call me. I now live in Melbourne, and it’s a Sydney number. Do NOT answer your phone if they call... it’s a scam!!

have been receiving calls every night sometime twice..if you answer they hang up

Didn't recognise the number, so I cancelled the call without answering, and they did not leave a message. Second strange call today in a 2-hour period, although first was from a different number, but same scenario.
