Caller: Scam from (02) 8522 9892 SCAM ALERT!!!! Do not trust the caller. I had a missed call, then called back, at the same time this number called again claiming to be from Woolworths Online Australia. They said there were items missing from my recent Melbourne delivery via a Yello Driver (there was) and would I accept a refund.
I said no I’d prefer the items were delivered, they pretended to call the local supermarket and told me the items would be there in 20 mins. Hours later nothing had arrived.
I reported via email to Woolworths Online and received a refund.
I imagine the female scam caller wanted my bank details.
DO NOT TRUST, They have obviously written themselves some good reviews to make it appear legit.

Caller: Woolworths online Turns out it was legit. I was suspicious due to 02 number, and I live in 03 area. However, it ended up that the call was genuine. They sorted out the mystery quickly for me on the phone; woolworths online actually have great customer service; so apologies for being so suspicious; just the times we are living in I guess.

Caller: Woolworths online The person over the phone had a very heavy accent and when I asked her to repeat herself because I wasn’t understanding what she was saying she became extremely rude.

Caller: Woolies online Definitely NOT a scam, don’t believe the comments saying otherwise, they’re lying.
I complained online about a delivery driver making me feel unsafe as he was being very pushy, insisting I allow him into my home (26F, live alone, had a weird vibe from the driver).
I received a call to follow up from this number and the woman on the phone was VERY apologetic and told me my complaint is serious she would escalate it to ensure action would be taken against the driver’s behaviour. Very helpful, that driver should not have that job

Very well may be Woolies but they shouldn't be asking for name, address AND date of birth before continuing.

Caller: Woolworths Woolies online called to say that the driver had accidentally left the freezer items in the freezer of the truck and that he was on his way back to deliver them. Looked outside and sure enough the driver was back at my door with the two bags of freezer items. Legitimate call.

Caller: Woolworths Online I can confirm it's legitimate.
sick of people yelling "scam" when they asked for your name, email and phone number - not personal details. Noone is asking for your bank details stop freaking LYING.
As with every company confirming your identification they ask for name, email and phone.
Whiy people who don't pay bills whinge about AGL or debt collectors calling them, is beyond me.
as for scam calls while reserve Australia is a good place you should be reporting REAL scam calls to the ombudsman.
