Even though I tell them not to call they persist. Origin energy harassment

They call every day since I have switched from Origin to Red Energy about a month ago. I have been at work so not able to answer the call each time they call. They never leave a message, but they persist to call EVERY SINGLE DAY. Annoying

very simple solution, answer the call, once they start talking hang up. That way, you are off the call automated dialling cycle.

if you don't answer, you are still on the call list, until you answer.

Reading all these comments and having had them call past 4 weeks finally worked out how to block them, my sons old phone I using has a block number message button now to see if it works

Rang to let me know that Origin is covering all Australia on gas and I cut him off by saying i don’t have gas and he apologises saying ‘oh our records must be updated’ I’m so sorry he said. Thing is I do have gas

Caller: They reckon they are from ORIGIN.

They call and reckon they are from ORIGIN ELECTRICITY and that I had an unpaid bill. Funny yhat cos I.ve never been with ORIGIN
I.ve had to change my number...i.ve got new numbet and I have the number blocked (their number is (02) 8514 2136)
But they still keep calling every day.
I rang the legit ORIGIN number today and reported to them that this number was harrassing me and others. And could they do something about it. They said they cant do anything about it.
Anyways their number is still blocked on my phone

These bastards call 3 times a day every single day

phoned 2 times on Friday 5th July. Monday 8th Tuesday 9th 3 times and so far Wednesday 10th
2 times by 10.30.

Origen are a prix once a customer you will never ever leave them entirely. Left them 18 months ago and they still harass me to return even though they cant match TANGO my new provider. Idiots now blocked again!!!

Origin was my electricity supplier for years. Recently there have been issues with the meter reader gaining access to where my meter is situated - both meters are on the wall of the neighbouring duplex, inside a fenced area. The meter reader refused to enter the yard because of 3 Chihuahua's. Origin said it is a new policy that meter readers do not, under any circumstances, enter a yard where there a dogs. I asked if they could change my currently meter for a smart meter (it automatically transmits the reading - no human required). That would solve the problem! Answer : "sorry we don't replace like for like". What if I read my own meter? Answer : No you cannot, you have solar panels. I decided to ring around to see if there was another supplier who would be willing to replace the existing meter with a smart one. I found one and cancelled my account with Origin. Now they want to know why!?? I've blocked their calls..

Thanks for this thread I have been receiving calls from this number daily - no one on the line. I changed to another company last month and this has been happening for the past fortnight - have blocked them so will be interesting to see what happens.

Not Origin, they kept calling so I called the number back. Had Origin call waiting noise, once answered I had an Indian tell me " If somebody wants to talk to you they will call you back " ... and then hung up ... I called Origin to confirm the suspicious phone call, it not them, block the number

They keep calling, I answer, no voice on the other end, no messages left. Just harassing. I left Origin for a better priced company in the last month.

Blocked them yesterday, they have called again today

Multiple calls in a day from (02) 8514 2136 = Origin

this pack of creeps called me 13 times today
block them immediately

These creeps don't take no for an answer and call on a do not call number
Just block!
