Thanks for the advice re the 1800 720 721. I have been getting these calls right through the early hours (6 times 2330 til 0900). The US call taker was helpful. I guess there is no point in venting to them. Be nice and don't complain to them. Just ask for your number to be blocked. The call taker stated that he has blocked the number. We will see what happens. I just got another while typing this. I guess it takes a while.

Why does our government allow this sort of marketing. I get it on my mobile and my business lines. Phone Spam.

I actually got a voice to text message from this number about a very important business matter using my name, only got the first 7 numbers of a 1800 number, called 85076600 and the call failed twice. If it is so important they will call again but I don't want to answer it now.

It's an electronic messaging company; call 1800 720 721 & tell them you want it stopped. I have just fielded 3 calls in 15 minutes on a business phone so was pretty angry. Just got another call aaagh!! Will ring again & also Telstra.

I have managed to contact the "owner" of this hideous fax - it's actually a computer generated fax and all you need to do is ring 1800 720 721 and request they remove your number(s) from their database. You could also try emailing support.au @ easylink.com. Good luck!

Very very annoying having to answer the phone all the time to faxes. Only sometimes does it display the (02) 8507 6600 number.

We've been getting these nuisance fax calls to our work landline over the last six/seven months. One day it started at 9am, the next call was 9:03 and then again at 9:23, 9:26 and then every 20 minutes (+3) all day up until 11pm that night. Biggest problem was that at 6pm every night, the phone diverts to the Managing Director - he was not a happy Jan, let me tell you. There should be a law against these types of spam faxes/phone calls!!!

If someone at (02) 8507 6600 would bother to answer I'd politely tell them to f%$# off and leave us all alone. Calls at all hours of the day & night. Which genius thought that would be funny, probably one of the Telcos.. cause they are absolutely no help whatsover when you call them to report this crap. Perhaps a reputable Telco might see this post and do something about it - wait a minute is there such a thing as a reputable Telco I think not.....

Yep me and my man have been getting these strange calls to my New Zealand Mobile telephone. As we live in New Zealand we thought that we would call this NSW telephone number to see what is happening?? but to no avail we are also getting the same response as you guys in the future we will ignore any calls to us from now on from this Number...

Very tired of this number - i dont even answer it, I just hang up, but i am sick of wasting time with it

We have been receiving calls from a fax number for the last 3 months. We tried ringing the number but the phone disconnects. We also sent a few return faxes asking them to check their number but to no avail.Very annoying as this is a business line.

These people are worldwide scammers apparently, we have been getting this call for nearly a year on our voice numbers. Very annoying and nothing you can do.
