The comments on this page are conflicting. Some say a definite scam. Others say genuine go MasterCard fraud dept calling. Why don't go MasterCard contact account holders through the established APP? FREAKING ALARMING method calling us all afternoon and we don't answer numbers from unknown callers. We looked up contact for this dept and called and message said we were calling out of hours! Really confusing and frustrating.

This seems like a very sophisticated scam give that they ask YOU to confirm YOUR personal details before you can even speak to someone. I also haven't made any transactions with my GO MC and actually closed it, so I suspect they've gotten some amount of customer data from somewhere and are mining the rest. Contact Latitude through their website or listed phone number if you want to be sure. Otherwise I'll be ignoring these calls.

Caller: Go Mastercard/ Latitude It is actually a legitimate call, Go Mastercard/ Latitude checking on a transaction that was made overseas. It requires to enter some details but it is nothing anyone can use in order to commit fraud.

Caller: Higginson If you receive a call claiming to be from Latitude's fraud team, and they ask for sensitive information like your credit card number, expiration date, CVV, online account password, or a one-time passcode from SMS or email, hang up immediately. Latitude will never request this type of information from customers.

I missed a call from this phone number and it asked to punch in my details. As I am part of the data breach I was hesitant. The interactive voice recording sounds just like Latitude. I called ASIC and confirmed this is a scam number.

Recorded message that gave the name of somebody that worked for us 5 years ago. Said a fraud payment made on account ( think it was mastercard ) and to hold to talk to somebody. Held and nobody came, call disconnected.
