The recorded message scam purporting to be the Australian Taxation Office and telling you you're under investigation. I've had it before but not from this number. It came up as 061284881011. I hung up before the message finished playing out.

Scam ATO message. Rang back and had some fun with them before calling them criminals. They stated that the police would be arriving shortly to arrest me. I'm sitting here waiting in terror :)

I had the same message today. I would not call back even to mess with them because it may be one of those numbers that cost you when you do call back. Just a thought.

I received an automated call on the land line this morning. Hung up.
Caller had an Indian accent with a speech impediment!

Claimed to be from Taxation Office telling us we were under investigation and there was a serious lawsuit against our name and return the call asap. Said her name was Officer Kelly Anderson

Yes, This number is a scam. They have the wrong names that do not match up.

And to use the ATO in an automated call and make you ring back is truly a bad situation.

The message was for me to return call to the ATO sort out a very bad breach of Tax Laws and ask for Kerry Anderson on (02) 8488 1011

Scam, phishing scam

This call went through to my message back and as above also left a recorded message to say that I was under legal investigation and if I didnot return the call there would legal ramifications....I hung up!!! and did not call back!!!
