Caller: Call centre with Indian accent and bad phone reception

They tried to sell an electricity plan. They knew my name and postcode and stated that they got this information from the government.

Called me yesterday and again today. Didn't answer either call as my phone recognised it as spam

Caller: "James"

A male called in at a mobile, and immediately checking the possible mobile user's name by saying "This is James from Green Galaxy Group. Are you [James 2]?". While I asked him "What is your Green Galaxy Group?" he immediately hung up. - Likely a scammer even a phishing caller.

Thanks for other reporters, this number called twice without leaving a message. Hate disturbing normal life.

Very heavy indian accent, couldn't pronounce my name. Pushing solar panels. Not interested in your answers, had a set list of questions to ask what ever you answered. He hung up as I was asking questions about his company.

said they want to do a mortgage check up to make sure you are getting the best rate. Hung up on them. From a noisy call centre, pretty sure it is a scam!

Received a call today from this number. Did not answer. Checked the number here and blocked it. But it will come from another number.

Ignored the call because looked suspicious. Checked comments here. Instincts were right.

Caller: Green Galaxy Group

Woman with thick accent talking very fast. She called on my mobile number. I asked her to repeat who she was calling from several times before I could clearly hear the name. When asked “Who is Green Galaxy Group?” she proceeded with her script. When I insisted on an answer before proceeding further she said GGG “is a referral company”. She was unable to explain what that meant. Very persistently wanting to proceed. Something about “Government” and “power price comparisons”. When told “Thank you, I’m not interested”, she persisted, forcing me to hang up. Number now blocked. Seems if you are polite it is taken as a sign of weakness and they just try to talk over you following their script.

Called then hung up.I called them back and there was a recording claiming to be from the 'Option Team'. Gave a few choices as to press 1 to speak to someone, 2 to not receive these calls, 3 blah blah blah....They are rubbish and best to block them on your mobile and landline if you you can.

These people whoever they they are, are absolutely incorrigible. They will ring and ring and ring until you lose your patience. I suggest you block this number because they will not give up!! They're PESTS!

Missed call. Checked with Reverse Australia and will now block them from my phone.
