Phishing for personal details, Tax scam.

i thought it was hilarious.
Called them back and it rings once and hangs up. Good gag.

(02) 8417 3029 just called, it's the tax scam everybody before me has gotten, I so wish I hadn't sold that General Atomics MQ-1 Predator drone with hellfire capability to an overseas buyer, I could've dispatched it on a return mission. (_)]

Just got this call today! Not happy about their threats!

Tax scam call - do not take any notice of the message. or report it if you'd like - the ATO does not leave this sort of message.

High pressure con artists with tax scam threatening legal action etc. targeting the elderly. Have reported to ATO who have had numerous complaints and are going to take action to block the number.

Agree - this is a scam

Automated phone call, threatening arrest for unpaid taxes. They give you this number (02) 8417 3029 to call back and answer it at Australian Tax Office, it is a call centre...spam!!!!!!!
They give you theie bank details to transfer the "unpaid funds into". Innocent people are victims to these types of schemes.....not fair.
