Same here. Blue screen virus locked my browser saying my personal records are at risk and to contact Optus fora technician to help me remove the virus. I just disabled my browser via the task manager then restarted it. No more blue screen but obviously there is something lurking on my PC. Will have to get it cleaned.

Got a message on my computer saying my data is a risk blah blah blah, call testra on a toll free number (02) 8417 2385, but yet, changing what was typed in the url changed the information showing on screen, I believe that this is a scam

Same window popping up. Called the number as well. Didn't even ring for long. Was picked up by a recoding, saying they would be right with me and to hold the line. Then hung up. Curiously the voice speaking on the recording had an American accent. As far as I knew, Telstra recordings use Aussies.

I got the same situation. A prompt blue webpage states the above message and requires me to call this number to solve this problem. I didn't make the call, so I don't know what's happening afterwards.

A virus had got into out internet and they where shutting it down they also said that all of our details where in trouble and to contract them on the number (02) 8417 2385. I hung up and rang Telstra and they said they had not made any calls to us recently and it was a good thing I hung up.
