ATO Scam

(02) 8416 8032 - a robot left a message on my phone. "Australian Taxation Office, we want your lawyer to call us back ...." - This is an absolute scam. Don't even pick up.

Thank you for taking the time to post. I can safely block this number.

we want you ar your lawyer to call us back or risk having a policeman turn up at your door step or place of work. We want you to return our call.

Pre recorded message asking to call back, message is in broken English.

ATO scam

I don't answer the call and then I call back 101 to check my voicemail. A recorded message (almost half cut off) says "If you have already entered into an arrangement, you can disregard this call". Um where are you calling from?!?! No contact or company details left. Has been trying to call me several times since yesterday.

Caller: Individual identifying themselves as compensation specalists, about my car accident

Unfortunately it's the second time I've had this lot call me about 'my car accident, and the financial claims that I could make'. The first time they called, I tried to get an ABN or ACN from the individual (lol, that was fun), and this time I just hung up.

But on calling them back they were from Ferratum Australia

called 4 times at 2.30am

ATO scam. I have reported to ATO. Hopefully they will take action.

I keep calling the number back and harassing them. They're now swearing at me telling me they're going to hurt me. Haha. a**holes
