This is one of many numbers with the same prefex the last 4 digits change. I do not know who it is and yes they hang up when you answers. I think it is time to report to fair trading

Numerous calls since 7 Sep 12 with no one on end of call when picking up. Probably computer initiated. Caller ID shows this basic format 08842398XX. Once home phone rings 4 times it stops and it is immediately followed by my mobile ringing in the format 02841585XX also hanging up after 4 rings. These two numbers have to be linked.

i have the same problem, numbers include 84158596,84158514, 84158568,84158538, same time everyday, am now going to report to nsw police and telstra as harassing calls

I have had constant phone calls from this number and as soon as I pick up they hang up. What's with that?????
