Burglars to see if you're home or out - they can tell from the background noise. Who else says nothing when you answer and then hangs up.

Caller: criminals Criminals who know where you live and want to target you for burglary. They phone your mobile to see if there is noise in the background. If it sounds like noise in a shopping centre they'll rob your house
