Possible SPAM/Scam

Caller: Unknown caller

As w Unknown Complainer on Feb 25, I had a nan call about electricity bills. He sounded very Indian but on my call he said his name was Roger lol
He seemed to be lecturing me as to what I was being charged & what I should be charged. And the more I said I wasn’t interested the nastier he got so that made it easy to hang up! Lol. And yet he tried me Again today : Loser

I returned a call from (02) 8412 8345 this number but no one answered the call

Caller: Definitely a scam

Firstly the lady Rachel called and said she was from Origin (my provider)and about to tell me all the new benefits. She then passed on to her manager who then contradicted her and said they’re actually from Alinta Energy at the start. But when I asked again he said he’s with Origin. So basically they pretended to be with Origin (or whatever your provider is) but they’re actually with Alinta and are attempting to switch you over without you even aware of it. DO NOT FALL FOR IT GUYS, DEFINITELY A SCAM! JUST HANG UP!

I'm in Perth and received a call from (02) 8412 8345 - I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message, so it's probably some dodgy scam. I've blocked the number.

Caller: Said he was from Energy Savers

Blabbed on about new plans. I asked how he got my number and name. He said they buy the mailing list but couldn't say where from. I started to lecture him about privacy concerns but realised I was wasting my time. The simple strategy: hang up and save your breath.

Was man with accent asking all questions about my electricity he told me he was,from origin and he wanted all my information it was then I said I didn't remember and hung up he has phoned and left messages

Caller: They say they are energy broker

They try to switch you to a different energy provider. But don’t say which one.

I get a lot of spam calls and this is yet another one that calls + leaves no message. I have no idea how they got my number.

I got a call from this number, i answered, and they asked if they were speaking to X and got my real name correct and then proceeded to tell me that they would like to talk to me about my electricity bill. I told them i live with my parents and have never paid for an electricity bill in my life which is true and they said "no i would like to talk to you about your electricity bill' at this point i said i would like you to delete my number and hung up.

Possibly scammer ( electricity provider?!)

I missed the original call and when I try to call back I get an odd signal (not engaged signal) and then it ends after a few seconds

This number called on 04/03/2020. Didn't leave a message

I answered and said Hello. Silece and female voice said. Good bye.

This number called me but I didnt pick up. I called back but it didnt go through

Told me they were calling about my electricity account. When I asked what was wrong they told me nothing I had been paying my bills on time. HANG UP.

Caller: Indian guy for some electricity company

He told me I paid my bills on time so I would be getting a great deal - I don't have any electricity accounts! Where are they getting my details!!!! argh
