Caller: Dell You can't ring the number back. I was not home when they rang & the person who answered the phone could understand them & the volume of the call was very low. Best guess is that they have had trouble with a Paypal payment (which seems to be the case in other examples listed prior to mine). When I tried to ring Dell on a customer support number they told me there was nobody available as it was the weekend - yet they had rung me. Not impressed with the drop in quality for Dell customer service & if they seemingly have repeat problems with Paypal they shouldn't offer it as a payment option.

Caller: Guy from Printex Called me Saturday evening. Said they were from Printex and worked with lots of printer companies. Said they had a notification for our company but had trouble reaching us. I said they could find the email on our website but he wanted me to give him a model number of any printer we have. Sounds dodgy at the very least. They've tried to call several times and I'm now ignoring them. I would suggest they are not genuine.

The caller mentioned he is from Dell but his communication is really unprofessional. He paused in the conversation without completing the sentence. I had to keep asking if he is still on the line. This made me doubt if he is indeed from Dell. I am unable to believe that this is the quality of Dell.

Apparently there was some problem with my paypal transaction, and would I like it to be cancelled. This was on a Friday night at 6.30. When I said I would deal with it personally, he hung up. Tried to ring back but number engaged.

I received a call at 6.30 today, Friday, telling me that I had recently purchased a computer from Dell but there was some issue processing paypal and would they like me to cancel the paypal transaction. The guy was Indian and at spoke quite softly. When he rang, he waited for me to start the conversation till I reminded him that he had something to tell me as he had rung me. Anyway, I said I would deal with paypal personally, so he told me to be aware of the issue, whatever the issue was , and hung up
