Overseas scam callers "Government Solar Rebate” using a spoofed (fake) number. Diverted to scammer answering machine, I hope they enjoyed the chat with it.

Caller: Unknown Regular caller - usually Indian. Asks for a guy who lived at this house 10 years ago. I’d say scam. Isn’t it amazing though that we’ve got people flying to the edge of space but cannot stop these calls?

Same curry clown, "hello dave sir, remember I rang you six months ago about your mortgage"
Trying to find an automated service that will send random junk calls and add this number to it. Years ago I had an old NT4 computer with a 56k modem dial up service and fancy scripts all set up for this exact thing --- to add a scammers number to it, and it would just randomly ring and blurt connection dial-up noises down the line after they answered. All randomly during the night and day. Was awesome. Seems to be way harder to do it now days. NBN and digitial crap sucks.

Rings landline and hangs up when answer phone comes on. Really frustrating because we can't block calls on our landline.

I don't answer unknown callers and this caller did not leave a message. Saw on this page that the number is most likely a scam call. Have blocked it.

Cancelling landline means they will latch on to the mobile number.
I've had a couple from this number and similar calls today and my landline went some time ago.
I just don't answer and then block the number. Pity I can't do the same with the stupid UAP texts from Craig Kelly.
