Hung up after answering

Caller: Belouis Group

Cold calling, busy open call centre noise in background.
Mentioned that i had attended the Akka ??? Last week. I replied "wrong"
Then asked what state was i and i started asking him the questions.
He implied that i entered a competition to win a Kia sportswagon (dont recall that) and he was calling to advise of their financial services..blah blah blah.
I kindly suggested they delete my details from their data base and only call if we won the prize.
Number now blocked and can recommend others do the same.
But...i notice an increase in these calls when i use woolworths online to shop which is once every 3-4 months.
Just wondering if others notice the same?

Some Financial Planning group...apparently got my details from Sydney Home Show.
I asked the guy 3 times what the Belouis group group do....finally got it out of him that they were a financial planning group.
Seemed to know my address (which I didn't confirm one way or the other)

Interestingly, the google search also came up with Property investment scam....not saying that the two are connected ofcourse.

Really scary.
Called me saying I had entered a competition in Easter show last year to win Kia Sportage
I said I may have..
They took my post code, and asked whether I owned a house or not..
the very next day i received another call from someone saying they’re calling from AMP to help me find my lost super. Asked my details and I flatly refused saying I don’t know u. They said they’ll email me to ensure I am talking to the right AMP. They never emailed me. I feel both calls are somehow linked

they know my name too...so weird!

Said i went in a draw to win a Google Home don't recall entering a comp. Rambled on and on asking lots of stuff . really nosy. Wanted to know if we owned home and how much we earned then tried to push me to make an appointment.
make an appt in the end to get rid of him.
Asked want the name of the company was and whereabouts they were located so i could check them out. he said someone would call to confirm the appt and didnt seem to want to tell me anything else.

I like one of the other comments use woolies online so maybe they get the info from there.

Belouis group? Nonsense

Two calls in a row, hangs up before I even have time to pick it up.

Same as most others. Suggested my wife entered a competition for a Kia Sports wagon. I told him No and hung up. My mobile is usually turned off so when he keeps calling back I just delete it.

Blue sth group a scam

In August 2018, they called me 4 times. I never answer it. Going to block it now

Apparently offering financial advice and access to Gov benefits for selected people in my postcode, asked about my person finances.
