This company (Global Direct) uses a predictive dialler automatically dialling 100 numbers when they might only have 10 agents. The first 10 diallings answered go to the live agents and the rest are dropped. As agents finish their calls the machine just dials again. Let's hope Global Direct has a physical presence in Australia so someone can kick their butts or they get the proper training on how to use the dialler properly.

I am waiting for a call so when I saw the missed call on my mobile I rang back via skype..same thing music then a goodbye and hang up...at least my number is not on Skype so they won't be able to record it. Ha ha

This number call my mobile and when I answer it hangs up. I called it back and was told to wait on the line which I did for some time and then the automated voice just said Goodbye!! I will no longer answer call from this number! RUDE people!!

I too have these jerks calling over and over, hanging up numerous times a day...I have rung Global Direct but the care factor wasn't very high. I will also mention I have had the same thing happen with the Red Cross and World Vision- shame on them. I still do not understand what they achieve by this and all I do is end up not being a customer or donate to them ever again.

I have been receiving calls for about 3 weeks now & I'm over it. Can't something be done to stop this? You can't even answer it or call back to request the 'cease & desist'. Very annoying.

This call centre is driving me insane and now ringing my mobile..I have been ill as well as waiting on calls from the hospital re a family member having heart surgery and as my phone doesn't display the number I have to answer each time...can't seem to block it..will ring Testra again!

I rang Telstra (my provider) yesterday - they have blocked this number and (02) 8026 1100 (similiar calls)from ringing thru to my land line. I was very happy with Telstra for actually helping me!! :)

Majorly pissed off, I screen every incoming call this bastard has phoned repeatedly never leaving a message but I do hear a recorded voice saying 'Goodbye' I dialled the number and got music, no answer just some holding sound of music. Seriously driving me crazy this has gone on over the past 24hrs every 10 mins and it's ringing again! Again just answered no voice just a few seconds of dead air and 'Goodbye' FMD!!

Same as above - rings and then no answer... we are on Do Not Call Register - they should be blocked!

Same as above no connecting tone... but after 4 seconds a computer voice said 'goodbye'.

Same rings - when answered no one speaks just dead line - I have blocked the number as I am getting a number of calls
