I just received a call from Roadcare Uk. They stated that I was in a car accident and I could get between $20,000 to $50,000. I told them that it was a very minor accident
and that it was all resolved privately. I also advised them that I will not be giving any of my bank details. They said that they will send me a cheque., as they do things the old way. They said they got my details from a claim from the person that I had the accident with. I very
much doubt it. The person that I had the accident with was an elderly person that wanted all done privately. They said that they will send the details to an assessor and they will call me tomorrow at 10:00 am. It will be an interesting call, now that I have more information. I also wanted to note that this number has called me a number of times.

Was contacted by Clint (british accent) from Road care said he was the head assessor and said there is money owing to me from a car accident i was in around March, which i was in a minor bingle. They wanted to get my Rego details, he had my address correct all bar the number. He said that another senior assessor will be contacting me back in the next couple of days to get my Rego number and explain how much i will be entitled to. The number that called was from (02) 8355 9972.

Had Alfred call me 30/08/2017 to say I could get $20000 - $50000 in compensation for an accident I was in. Asked me some questions like where and when. I said, " you called me so you should have this info. If not get it from the police report. You are an insurance company right?" I also said, " this is why people have to pay so much in insurance because dodgy people claim for things they aren't truly intituled to." He says" no no its not like that." He says " I will have to look into it and someone will call me back in 2 hours." I'm still waiting and will be very interested in what they say if they do. This is the 2nd time in the last 3 mths they have called but doesn't go further. I know its a scam and I wouldn't except a payout I'm not intituled to.

Unbelievable they just kept calling ... seriously trying to fish out details as if they the supposed roadcare handling our mva not have our registration let alone the make or type of vehicle 🙄

I also just received a call from a company called "Road Care" saying I was entitled to $20K-$50K compensation. Spoke with British accents. They knew my name, address and mobile phone!! I actually did have an accident 4 x weeks ago, so I was a bit guilable. He seemed to know a lot of details and said he was from the other party. As soon as he asked for my rego I refused to answer and he 'assured' me his collegues could ring back to confirm a website as I said I was googling it right at that point. I feel like a twit as he asked if I was still driving the car and what make it was now I seen your posts. The phone number is (02) 8355 9972...........

Another rubbishy scam. Claimed that I was in an MVA - refused to give their email or name - only said that they were Road Care . Then I said I suggest that they wrap up this scam - and he hung up . It was from a very loud call centre , Indian or Sri Lankan accent .

Incoming call, knew my first name. Advised they aware I have been in a car accident in the last few months. Told them I haven't, then asked if maybe a family member was? Said no, they apologisedand I ended all. Phoned number back, said the call was from roadcare U.K. Must be spam

Got a call saying I was in a car accident,I haven't of course.then they hung up.They new my name ,it's a bit creepy

Just received a call on my mobile from 0488 827 896 stating I've been in a car accident & that funds are sitting in an account for me to collect. I told him he knew that was rubbish & he hung up

I received the same scam call from the same phone number 9 th August

I have blocked this number but can see in my call log that they call me every morning. So happy you can block numvers cause this would be mighty annoying.

Yes I've had ten calls in four days I do not answer numbers I do not know after calling back though it is road care uk with a supposed Sydney number

Clint from road care said that I or a family member was involved in an accident oi asked where they got the info from they told me from motor vehicle association? ??
I kept asking for a supervisor to verify him. ..oh he is out of the office at the moment. .surprise surprise

I live in Sydney. Today I received a phone call from Road Care of (02) 8355 9973 that my kid had a minor car accident which is not correct. The caller is Kim Williams. The general public should be alerted of this kind of spam call.
