I knew this scam was doing the rounds, so when they called me... I said in a really broad okker accent:

Which f*ckin' accident are ya talking about mate? I've had 45 in the last f*ckin' year...

lol... they hung up. :P

They call regarding a car accident I have apparently been in. So this time I had fun with it and thanked them for calling so soon, as I was (not) in a really bad car accident yesterday. She had no idea what to reply with. She said, no I am calling about a car accident you have had recently. I said, yes thats right. I had one yesterday and thank you for calling. What can you do for me. She hung up. ha ha ha. but they are still calling me! but now just hanging up. Must see my response to last call as they are calling me.

Had a guy with an Indian accent from this number say he was from road care and said I'd been in an accident, which I hadn't. I said rubbish, but he kept arguing and I hung up.

Asked if my name was Kay and I said yes. They said have you been in an accident last 12 months. I said no and he hung up. What's going on?

I just told them they were a scam and I would pass their details to the police. they had the hide to ask why I would say that and shouldn't I be concerned that they had my details....ah yup!

I keep blocking this number but the calls still come thru! Eeerr!!

Just got the call same as above comments asking if i was in a road accident in the last 12 months...i didnt give them any details BUT the caller put me on to her "supervisor" sounds dodgy as, i asked who gave them a file on my traffic report and what information...after giving HIM the 3rd degree he said he would check the file and call me back...now i really cant wait for them to call me back, I am going to have so much fun with them...

I phoned back and got a robot from "Road Care UK". Never been to the UK. This smells like a scam.

Just received a call advising that I had been in a car accident where I had been a passenger. I knew of this scam and just asked the caller how she feels about trying to rip people off through this well-known scam. She denied it of cause, and said it wasn't a scam. I questioned how she can look herself in the mirror when she is a criminal and not feel disgusted with herself. Hopefully she will go home after her 'work' today and decide not to return to her job of dishonesty and crime.
