Got a call from this number saying that my McAfee wasn't installed properly and that he need to fix the firewall. He sounded real dodgy and I knew that there wasn't a problem with the installation and that I didn't need his help.

This guy called me moments after I was denied trying to install Microsoft trend. He asked to take over my computer to install it for me. I asked him why he couldn't just tell me and he made a snide remark about how I obviously couldn't do it myself in the first place. He directed me to the wrong web page to try and download trend and then when I advised him his information was wrong he told me I would receive an email about it in the next hour or two and then hung up. Very dodgy and very unprofessional if they were a representative of trend micro

DEFINITELY A SCAM! kept trying to call me when I told him to f*ck off

He said my norton's had expired and that I needed to sign up again. I told him to go away

Received an error message whilst installing Office Home & Student 2016. A message came up with an error code and "technical support" contact number. When I called it they told me that I couldn't install because my network firewall had been compromised and I needed to buy new security software. After a VERY dodgy conversation I hung up. Moments later a different "tech support" person called me and said that I needed to but their security software in order to be able to install Office. They had my name, email address and product key and were extremely rude... Reporting them to the police.

Got a call saying "apple support" and that my ipad email was not properly configured - offered to get a level 3 technician to fix it for a onetime charge of $399 - challenged him and he disappeared - Indian voice

Got a call from this number (indian accent) saying my "windows firewall was not turned on with Kaspersky security". He wanted to tke control of my computer and "show" me the problem.

Indian accent says that I didn't update my McAffie software. Don't answer
