Caller: Green Conservation - Govt Energy Rebate Scheme for Businesses

Caller asked to speak to "the Business Owner" as they have people 'in the area' next week to discuss installation of solar systems on business premises.

Scammers who do minimal research on the businesses they're targeting - it's relatively easy to do some basic legwork find out who a business owner/manager is!

When you ask their company name, they mumble, so unclear. I asked 3 times, they couldn’t tell me ! Scammers!

I called back number (02) 8324 6540 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

This number and asked the name of the business - so I suspect a new scam is brewing.
I think that given the calls actually come from Overseas our Govt should penalize that Govt - India or Philippines with a fee per visitor or just an action against that state to cover money stolen from un aware people here
Please dont say we can not - yes we can - otherwise no visitors from those places - add a Visa fee $10 added (Scam recovery fee)

they want to talk to the business owner, and said it is relating to the government rebate, when i asked what kind of rebate, they said it is business rebate...what?! I asked what is your company name, then they said i am wasting their time and hang up on me.

Called asking for the business owner. I'm so tired of these people always ringing, so I told them there was no business owner and she hung up.

They rang, I swiped to hang up. They rang again a few seconds later, I swiped to dismiss the call again, they rang again. I picked up asking them if someone had died. They hung up.

It’s happened to me on the 27th/8/18.at about 4 pm

Calling wanting to speak to business owner wanting to make an appointment regarding solar panels. Said he was calling from a business (Green Energy or similar) based in Melbourne, Australia....... yet calling from a NSW number. If it is legit (which I highly doubt), why the need to tell me "Melbourne, Australia" when we are located in Victoria and know where Melbourne is??
