Caller: Said it was Origin Energy Used my name, last bill amount claiming it hadn't been paid. Called on landline (8 times yesterday) and mobile. Account was paid by due date. Sent text with 'payment' options! Scam!

Caller: Origin Energy (elegedly) Called them back to tell them I am not the person the person their account is under and they started asking for all my details to which they suddenly wanted to end the conversation when I asked why they needed it, reeks of scam.

Thank you. I have had numerous texts and calls regarding gas which I do not have and citing an email address that in no way belongs to me (it's not even my name) - a terrible breach of privacy for the person concerned if it is correct.

Caller: Non English/Australian Accent Persistently calling about an unpaid Gas Bill, which was disconnected 7 months ago because the service charges made up 95% of the account. I did not use gas.

Caller: Origin Australia Dear Origin Energy, yes pls do have the courtesy to leave a message - I don't answer numbers I don't know & I definitely don't return calls if you can't identify why you are calling by leaving a message. Don't try telling me it's against the Privacy Act for you to do that little for me. So then I call the number on the SMS message and Hold blurb tells me what is outstanding, yeah so did the SMS, and then the first thing your overseas call centre wants to do when the call is finally answered is tell me what is outstanding! Do you understand it's o/s because I never got my bill emailed to me! Definitely changing energy providers, because to add insult to injury your wretched call centre hung up on me before I was finished speaking. I'm never signing up with one of those door to door guys from companies that you end up buying up, as I never want to be your customer again!!!
