Called me while I was in the supermarket. I did not answer. I would guess this is a nuisance call.

received message saying "thank you for shopping at Pay Pal. This is a confirmation call from PayPal.
I don't use PayPal ? so

Left a voice mail about a paypal amount that was about to be removed from my account. I don't have a paypal account, so very suspcious.

I didn't answer. They left a message to say they were PayPal and thanked me for making a purchase - which I hadn't. SCAM

Scam phone call claiming to be from PayPal.

Claiming i had been shopping with PayPal and had made a purchase of $299.39. If i wanted to cancel the purchase on my credit card to press some number to talk to one of their representatives.

After the first few words i wasn't taking to much notice of what was being said as its a scam call as was about to hang up

Caller: no idea

no vm left, only silence. called at 8:30pm at night

I called back number (02) 8318 0338 rang once then goes to busy tone.
